If you’re considering renovating your bathroom, think carefully about your choice of colours. As a rule, plain pastel colours work best, as do ever trusty shades of white. Drapes or blinds

You probably have frosted glass on your bathroom window, but why not add an extra splash of excitement with a coloured blind?

The general rules of thumb are to choose light, pastel colours while avoiding rich colours such as red. If the window is small, blinds are the best option. If you prefer drapes, make sure they are thin rather than heavy as this will maintain the light feeling of the room.

The little touches

It may sound like a simple job, but keeping up with your colour scheme can make a big difference when it comes to the way your bathroom looks. And we’re not just referring to tiles and painted walls! The small things such as the colour of your towels or the flowers you choose for the windowsill can often make a huge difference.
