Stylish Storage from Homesense

For this months style challenge Jen from Love Chic Living  Penny from A Residence and I have been looking at storage.  January is the month we all like to have a sort out isn’t it?

My declutter board on Pinterest has been really busy and everywhere on Facebook I hear mutterings of trips to charity shops and the tip!

Follow Becky Goddard-Hill’s board Declutter on Pinterest.

But having a sort out and a declutter means you are going to need good storage for those things you want to keep but don’t want to be out on show. Storage sounds like such a boring subject doesn’t it. But oh it really doesn’t have to be. A trip to Homesense and I found storage that was pretty, quirky, inspiring and unusual and most importantly useful!

Shall I show you my picks!

First of all I found these fabulous tins. My 11 year son has so many bits and bobs, card and coins and cars and just well ‘things’ really. I loved these tins for him (and his name is Frankie so I really couldn’t not buy the red tin!) At just £2.99 these are a bargain! The atlas box file (£5.99) is perfect for him to store precious letters and postcards, certificates and  drawings. It will look just fabulous on his bookshelf and hopefully create some order to the chaos of his bedroom

Fro my daughter I sourced this stunning vintage style floral suitcase (£24.99) for all her fancy dress clothes (now safely and conveniently stashed away under her bed) I also chose the s lovely box files (£5.99)with inspirational messages and book like sleeves for her stories and pictures, letters and bits and bobs to be stored in. How lovely they too will look on her bookcase too.

For myself I chose  a lovely muffin tin for a bargin £3. It’s ceramic too. If you are wondering how a muffin tin can be storage have a look here..it is just perfect for jewellery.

Oh and there was just SO much more that caught my eye.

picnic bottle

I could not resit these lovely bottles for summer picnics aren’t they just perfect. And such a great price  (£2.99 and £3..99)

There was storage for books, towels, food, toiletries, magazines and so on and so on. If you need storage Homesense has most definitely got some great value and interesting options for you. I was in staorage paradise.

Fab selection. What a great idea with the muffin tin, I would never have though of that and I SO need one for my mess of a dressing table!

I love Homesense! I don’t even need to buy anything. I just drift around with a smile on my face as I look at all of the shiny things! I am always drawn to the storage boxes, tins, organising things…I bought my other half a draw organiser the other day…They had a display of them as I walked through the door…How could I resist?

Really very stylish storage. Most people fed with trying to organize so many things in a very small room or small space, so storage can be a good option for them.
