Forest and Wild Woods – Autumn at Matalan

It is autumn at Matalan

Summer’s end has it’s perks.

The Forest and Wild Woods ranges from Matalan are two of their new ranges for Autumn and I think they capture the spirit of the season really well. I have always liked the idea of nature in doors and a natural earthy feel to a home and these ranges exude this.

Matalan is always well priced so none of these pieces are going to set you back a fortune. Cosy knits and a scattered lanterns will lend a feeling of warmth to your home which as the days get cooler will be a delight.

The other two ranges Matalan are showing this season include Serenity (think lots of clean fresh white)  I am loving this white serving platter with 2 overlapping hearts  at just £8 Porcelain Heart Shaped Serving Platter (34cm x 24.5cm x 2.5cm)
Their fourth range is Fable (based around Nordic folk art (think woody charm, appliqued throws, creams and red,) My favourite piece from the Fable range is this large driftwood heart
Large Driftwood Heart (29 x 26cm)
Yes, summer really is at an end but it’s not all gloom is it!

I love that cushion, i have a real fancy for a cable knit one for my sofa this winter, preferably with a matching knitted throw.

I love Matalan, you should try their glass jar candles. They’re amazing and such great value for money. I stock up on them each season x

Lovely ideas put together there, I must go to our local Matalan more often it’s a drive away and that always puts me off but when I do go I always find so many lovely things.
