This weeks pick of the week is uber thrifty!
Scouring my local charity shop I found these gorgeous coloured bottles in a crumbled but unopened box pushed right to the back of a shelf.
You need to have a good rummage sometimes to find the hidden treasures.
I love charity shopping, to me its like finding a sunken ship and searching to see if you can find anything special in board! sometimes you just swim around and leave empty handed and sometimes you strike gold.
They cost me a grand total of £3 and I have plans for them!I just love the jewel colours and the elegant shapes. They really brightened a grey January day.
Not only will they be the most lovely flower bottles I plan to fill them with home made bath coconut milk and lavender bath soak and tag them up as gifts for friends.
Don’t forget when you are wandering the high street looking for your thrifty home bargains that charity shops often hold unusual treasures at wonderful prices . They gain form your donation, you gain form you r bargain and the world gains form the recycling.
Love a win win win!
Ooh great find x
I used to have some like that – just the blue, in my blue days. I have no idea what happened to them – probably in a box in the garage! They look lovely with the Roses in.
They are beautiful and economically too as you only need three blooms to fill them!
It’s all flowery and pretty around you today!! #spoilt
