She Sheds
Oh I would SO love a She Shed.
I would totally use mine to write in (rather the corner of my kitchen.) How lovely it would be , all mine, set in he garden decorated exactly as I chose. I woudl have my lap top and a radio in there. Perhaps even a little kettle and most definitely a biscuit stash! It would be so nice to have a room of my home, space away form the house and to be out amidst the garden. I am sure it would inspire my writing.
I have been looking this week at the fantastic new book She Sheds and have been admiring the huge array of possibilities. this is a beautiful hardback book by Erika Kotite that looks at she sheds across the world, they all have different purposes; art, music, small businesses, gardening, even for reading, Some are made from kits, some reused old shed and some were built from scratch. Each one had delightfully provided its owner with a room of their own, Have a look at this gorgeous book and be inspired!
The book costs £16.99 and is available for preorder from Amazon now

For my son to play in
I would decorate it for a cosy afternoon reading room, sofa, books, some sort of heating, Fabrics and comfy cushions.
I would have giant bean bags a mini fridge stocked with prosecco and piles of magazines plus a little desk so I can write
Love this book……wouldn’t this be the dream spot to be creative in! So love all the shelves for organization and the chandelier!
I forgot to say that I’d use it for making jewelry, reading, creating photo boards to sell, painting frames, etc.
This would be great as a play house fro when my great nephews and nieces come to visit, lots of room for outdoor toys too 🙂
I’d love my own shed to use as a craft space where all my tools and materials could be stored with military precision and never messed up by anyone else (which happens lots at the moment!)
Potting my plants
What a gorgeous book. I would use my shed to escape the chaos of the house and to do some “armnchair gardening” when the weather is a bit iffy!
I’d use it to put my allotment goods in
I would use my She Shed to write in away from the call of everyday life and the endless phonecalls.
perfect for the spring, so many ideas . A hideaway I think, a bit of “me space”
It would make the perfect getaway for a reading spot. 😉
Reading books away from the noisy boyfriend!
As sewing heaven room
Would love an office / library where I can go and chill with my books
I would use is for blogging. Would be lovely to have my own private space.
Reading
I’d definitely use mine for crafting! It’d be so lovely 🙂
I would use it for photography and for reading.
Mine would be for my own personal escape, to read and drink coffee
A place to escape and relax
Help me find a bit of piece
I would have my She Shed as an utterly gorgeous shabby chic emporium, a place to sit amongst all things gorgeous, to while away some peaceful time, with my book and a mug of tea, a totally Me space!!
Chilling out with a beer and a good book
A craft room where I can store all my stuff and escape.
put a table and a chair, then I could escape for an hour if I wanted
for crafting- a place for my sewing machine and also would want a tv in there so I can watch films while I am chilling out! I also love to sell clothes so I would put a mannequin in there with a clear back drop to photograph my items.
this book would be great inspitration for my allotment shed which really needs some inspiration to make it a girlie haven from the male orientated world at home.
It would have to be crafting.
my wife wants it
To make my lovely summer wines
Reading a book in peace and quiet
I would use mine to put all my crafting stash in and spend many happy hours being creative.
I have a comfy chair in mine which I relax in, sometimes read or just dream.
I’d use it to keep all my nick nacks in and a space to have ‘5 minutes’ to myself in
Hiding from the kids …..
I’d use it for my hobbies like knitting and reading 🙂
