Win a Facom Tool Box

As soon as the daffodils peek through I get this urge to update my home.

Do you feel like that?

We have had a really big declutter this past weekend and now we are noting lots and lots of jobs that need doing which we have neglected throughout the winter.

It is time to get out the tool box and set to work sorting out the niggles. We have shelves to put up, some skirting to mend, pictures to hang and so on.

We don’t do the big jobs ourselves as it’s not our forte but flat-packs and fix its are right up our street and I have a list all ready to be completed.

Does Spring give you this DIY urge too? I feel like we have woken up from our winter slumber and it really is time to get sported.

I am sure as you are a reader of Thrifty Home that you will at least do some DIY yourself and so this competition will certainly interest you. I have a really good quality, robust tool box to give away. It  is from a range of  tool boxes at RS.

The one we have chosen to giveaway is The Facom Plastic Tool Box

win a facom tool box

It has some great features – it is really robust and is resistant to impacts and common chemicals. It has a  removable tool-holder tray and an aluminium handle which is safe and comfortable. It retails at £30.03.

It would be a lovely way to store your tools.

Heavy things! I can paint walls and build flatpack furniture but I’m limited by how much I can lift – and that’s very frustrating having to find a bloke who can help!

Being a single mum i’ve had to do my own DIY for years, and I’d say my worst job is wall papering as I get in such a mess and am too much of a perfectionist that often the paste is too dry by time I’ve lined up the pattern x
