Budget decorating with cushion covers
There are many ways to decorate a home on a budget. You could paint your walls a fresh colour. You could fill you home with flowers from your garden. You could rearrange your furniture and you could have a huge and heartfelt declutter. You could create a reading nook, move rugs form one room to another, choose some new wall art. All sorts of things really. Making changes to your home never need be expensive, it just needs to be considered.
One of my favourite ways to update a home on a budget is with cushions. This doesn’t only work in winter when you are wanting to cosy up your home interiors, you can even get nice designs for your outdoor areas for the warmer months.

Actually I really like to sit outside in winter too with a cosy throw and a cup of hot choc on milder days.

Because these cushion covers are crafted in UV resistant material, they will last and last and last and even being outdoors in the colder months will not harm them. They are Water repellent, mould & UV resistant. I just love the navy with the simple patterns, I think it is such a sophisticated and classic look. It would certainly add a pop of colour to our pretty bare garden.
Red is absolutely the colour to be seen in this season and this Bellefair outdoor cushion cover would really add some vibrancy to a winter garden wouldn’t it?

I think it is such a shame when people don’t make the most of their outdoor space in the winter months. It is absolutely a time when we need as much light as possible to chase away the blues. A healthy dose of fresh air never hurts either does it! A big cosy blanket and it can actually be a wonderfully invigorating and snuggly experience and a lovely place to take your morning coffee.
Getting outside in winter is actually really important to our health and well-being and I do think investing in some candles, cushions and throws for your outdoor space will make your garden so much more appealing.
Indoor cushions can totally change the look of a room and they are a brilliant budget option for decorating your home.
Texture
The texture of a cushion cover is something I like to alter from season to season, furry, velvety tactile cushions give a real sense of cosiness when it is chilly outside. In summer, lighter fabrics of silks and cottons are very fresh and airy and seem to suit the season more.
Colour
In summer I like to use zesty coloured cushion covers in lemons and oranges and perhaps even lime. Or I like to use aquas and pink in Spring.

And I love white, cream, silver and berry tones in the winter months. I also adapt the colours of my cushions to the changes I make in my décor, so perhaps a new cushion cover will be bought to compliment a new rug or a new piece of art.

Cushion covers are a really inexpensive way to update your home and can really add depth through colour, texture and sizing so do experiment!
The cushions are really well designed with great textures and color. Quite impressive!
