I like the whiteness of winter much more than the red and green and tartan, the glitzy colourful baubles and the ‘too much’ of everything.
Winter is a season to calm things down in my mind for the home to become calmer and stiller and a time to wind it all down. I am looking for peace this winter time.
Winter Homeware at Matalan is light and white and it’s simple sophistication is just the perfect antidote tot he season of excess.
Sophisticated does not have to mean expensive and Matalan is always a place for stylish budget buys.

Accessories make the transition between the seasons simple and cost effective. I have just worked out that if you bought all these winter accessories you would only spend £37 in total!
Not bad at all for a little indoor winter wonderland.
Good old Matalan
I do like the white. I like ones with words on.
they are great little pieces, white is so lovely and perfect for fitting into any home and colour scheme.
Oooh Becky, you know what? I’m just about to give my Living room a little mini makeover and these would be fab!
Thank you x x
I love that votive and I agree even White can be Christmassy.
I agree totally. Don’t like things which are too garish and in your face. Simple and elegant decorations like these are what Christmas should be all about.
I love the combination of white and metals. My favourite combination is white and silver. It’s so elegant x
