How to Buy Original Art on a Budget

Chaotic Craziness Series 2011.040514. Original art by Kris Haas

I do love to see original art in someone’s home. Whether this is by their 4 year old, a local artist, an established or an up and coming artist it really does not matter. Art is a real reflection of taste interest and personality and I think it is so exciting to see art that has not been mass produced and is everywhere!

Are you wondering how to buy original art on a budget?

I was delighted to be introduced to Original Art Under £100. Such a simple concept and a win win for both up and coming or hobby artists and those looking for original art on a budget.

Here are a few of my favourite pieces from the site. Some pieces are truly inexpensive like the jackdaw above at just £25 and non e are mote than £100.

How great I love seeing opportunities for local artists or crafters to come together to sell their products.

This is such a great site, it’s brilliant to support up and coming artists.

I have a blank space in my new kitchen so I’ve been checking it regularly to see what catches my eye.

I really like the art of the jackdaw. That is even a pretty good price for how good it looks. It would look really nice in my office, I keep all sorts of art like that in there.
