Our bedroom is our safe haven, it’s where we relax at the end of the day, it’s where we go for privacy, and because it’s where we sleep, we spend a good third of our life in our bedroom.  So why not make your bedroom perfect?  It doesn’t have to involve a complete renovation and it doesn’t have to cost the Earth, there are lots of small and cheap ways that you can dramatically improve your bedroom.

By simply repainting your room to make it all one colour you create a much cosier feeling bedroom.

What you put on your bed can really make the difference to how the room looks and feels.  Luxury bedding, which doesn’t have to be expensive, can make the room feel sophisticated and elegant, not to mention comfortable and cosy.

Okay, this will cost a little more than bedding, but a new bed doesn’t have to be expensive, especially if you find a good value bed company that regularly has fantastic sales on, like Summer Sales, for example. Bunk beds are also a brilliant option.

One way to freshen up the look of your bedroom, if you have wooden floors, is to hire a wood finisher to polish and rejuvenate your old wooden floors.

Plants can really make a difference when it comes to the feel of a bedroom, adding just one or two potted plants in the room can inject a fresh lease of life into it.
