We have been thinking about garden lighting for summer for some time now.
Since the pandemic, our garden has become even more important to us and is definitely a special place, almost an extra room where we can meet safely with friends ( and spend time with or away from each other.)
Our plans this summer do not involve going away we are going to staycation and make it as special as possible form our own home with days out and socially distanced get together too.
We need to ensure our garden is looking it’s very best and has great garden lighting so gatherings can take place in the evening too.
Garden Lighting
We were excited to be sent some gorgeous garden lighting to review form Lights4fun. Lights4fun have every kind of decorative lighting for your home and garden and are an absolutely lovely online lights store.
Their outdoor lights are chosen for their design and their quality they have a huge range too from outdoor string lights to solar lights to battery-powered light. You will be absolutely spoilt for choice.
I wanted lights that were fuss-free, did not requite outdoor electrics and looked pretty and twinkly. I chose festoon lights in warm white but coloured bulbs were also an option. They come in a range of sizes too from 14-42 metres. We coupled them with a battery box as we have no outdoor electricity.
Our 14m lights cost £79.99 with the battery box an additional £5.
They came beautifully and securely packaged and took moments to put together. They have 8 settings and a timer so really flexible and versatile lights.
We were also sent some of the shepherd’s crooks to review that you can see above. These are just £12.99 and are a lovely way to hold up your lights, they sink really easily into the lawn and are weatherproof and 1.6m high
Garden lighting review – perfect for a garden party
We put our new garden lights to work straight away though our teen a socially distanced end of school year get together. We put up the gazebo because the weather looked iffy then we unpacked and strung the lights. So straightforward. It all looked so pretty in the day and the lights meant it could go on long into the night.
Aren’t the lights just so pretty? I love they are weatherproof too (and not glass!) It meant I did not have to worry.
More uses of our garden lighting
We have a garden campout planned! A summer strawberry tea party and many evening planned around the chiminea under our twinkling lights. How lovely they are and what a huge difference they make to our garden.
Just perfect.
