Spring Fair is the UK’s premier gift and home trade event. It has been the lead gift and homeware trade show for over 50 years now. It is returning to Birmingham’s NEC from 5-9 February 2017 and I, for one, am really excited!

What is Spring Fair?

Spring Fair is THE place to go to to see new home and interior trends. What I love about what it has to offer is the breadth of items it has on display. This year there will be more suppliers participating in Spring Fair from outside the UK than ever before and it really does promise to be exciting.

Who goes to Spring fair

Spring Fair is just a wonderful way get an idea of all the new products that are out there and to be one step ahead of the trends. A wide range of people are eligible to attend (for free.) It is for those who have buying and purchasing responsibilities or control spend. This includes everyone from buyers from top department stores to independent gift shop owners, online businesses, mail order companies, supermarkets, distributors, importers, wholesalers, or even those looking to start a retail business (in the next 12months.)

What will I see there?

What won’t you see there! There are 14 sectors this year covering the whole UK gift and home market. It has everything, so put your comfy shoes on you will be doing a lot of walking. The addition of a DIY and Home Improvement sector this year will be hugely welcomed as these areas are increasingly popular. My thrifty home readers love home improvement articles and it is increasingly something people are prepared to have a go at.
