What to look for in a riser recliner chair – some thoughts
Do you know what to look for in a riser recliner chair?
I am a big believer in making sure you have your needs met on every level when it comes to your home. For many people with mobility issues (due to age or disability), there is a need to have adapted homes. Adapted homes are often very functional and practical and this, of course, is tremendously important. However, comfort and aesthetics are also of prime importance when it comes to our home and we should never have to compromise on these.
Comfort
When it comes to meeting mobility needs we have to also ensure we are also meeting our needs in terms of her comfort. Why would anyone buy a chair that is not comfortable and relaxing?
You can have it all when it comes to comfort and practicality you just have to look around and find the right products The British Riser Recliner Chairs from Fenetic Wellbeing have been designed to support people with limited mobility. They have also been designed to be extremely comfortable too. Exactly what a home armchair needs to be. These chairs are handmade in the UK, and they come with a 5-year warranty. Their Bracken riser, for example, is made from luxurious fabrics designed to suit any room, and also comes in a choice of colours. Comfort features include USB socket to charge your phone or tablet and a backup battery in case of a power outage so you’re always in control.
Practicalities
A riser recliner chair is designed to support your body and help you maintain your independence. They have a variety of individual specifications such as the ability to tilt back. independently moving feet and headrests and so forth. You will be able to find what works best for you and meets your needs. Riser recliners not only take the pressure off your joints enabling you to rise to your feet at the touch of a button but they also increase safety. It is just too easy for people to fall as they are getting out of chairs if they lack adequate support.
Aesthetics
Some chairs look more institutionalised than others. Whilst I do believe practicality and safety are paramount concerns when you have mobility issues you will of course also want your chair to look good and to fit into your decor. I would advise you to take your time with your purchase and make sure it really does meet all your needs including that of your decor.
I do hope this has helped you work out what to look for in a riser recliner chair
