Pick of the Week – Wooden Bunting

Summer is around the corner and like little flags of welcome, bunting is starting to be seen in gardens and on village greens up and down England.

It has been this way for centuries.

 

I do love bunting .

It is so jolly and so very British. I love most of all to see it outside at fêtes and in gardens. I hate to see it all wet and straggly however, tatty and  crinkled so actually this wooden bunting that I have found at Matalan would be absolutely perfect.

In polka dot , stripe and text it is subtle and pretty and definitely a way to add a summer celebration element to your garden
